The Vice President Information Technology is a senior leadership role and critical member of the company that will work with all stakeholders to align priorities and initiatives with key business objectives and ensure the blueprint continues to be designed with the most current software versions for the enterprise and the technical services center within the company’s repair operation. The Vice President of Information Technology will provide strategic direction for the organization’s technical infrastructure and security, including hardware, software, servers, databases, storage solutions, networks, audiovisual equipment, and physical facilities, in support of critical business operations. This position is responsible for maintaining comprehensive architecture documentation and the associated inventory lists. This person will be hands-on with the IT and the IS teams and drive the execution of initiatives that ensure uptime and operations productivity for overall IT and IS security and efficiency infrastructure, including installing, configuring, and managing the software, hardware, and networks. This position will be engaged as the IT/IS Lead for New Product Integrations/Introductions. This position will also have the responsibility and oversight of the Information Systems Applications and Informatics Department to contribute, influence, and drive the company’s organizational vision through the strategic enterprise full life cycle management of all revenue cycle, ERP, and customer-facing applications. This department evaluates the business needs and associates internal and external customer requirements, develops and implements technical solutions accordingly to enable the company’s business and strategic growth trajectory. Directs and designs he use and usability of systems to collect, aggregate, and report data to achieve regulatory requirements and efficiency. Responsible for end-user education, adoption, optimization, and training of applications.
o Responsible for establishing the company’s IT Architecture practice, and the adoption of architecture and standards methodology including development of departmental roadmaps and project portfolios for IT systems architecture
o Responsible for maintaining the most current software versions for the enterprise the the technical services center within the repair unit of the company.
o Maintains comprehensive architecture documentation and the associated inventory lists
o Manage the development and delivery of IT standards, best practices, architecture, and systems to ensure information security across the enterprise
o Develop, schedule, test, and communicate the IT Disaster Recovery plan and procedures
o Communicate the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborate and coordinate with IT in the formalization and adoption of IT standards and procedures
• IT Infrastructure & Security
o Oversee the selection, development, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and enhancement of the company’s technology infrastructure for overall ownership including installation, configurations, asset lifecycle management
o Responsible for creating, maintaining, and managing again capital and operational budgets for IT infrastructure and security
o Monitor performance and maintenance of systems including new releases, upgrades, models, patching, etc.
o Ensure system and cyber security with correct level of access controls, backups and firewalls, multi-factor authentication, operating within NIST guidelines
o Manage and support scheduled and emergency maintenance windows, lead Change Control Board o Ownership of LAN, WAN, VLAN, EDI, and other data communication systems including Active Directory
o Maintain and build internal technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies
o Manage outages and troubleshoot reported issues through the company’s help desk ticketing system o Configures and manages on premise network, applications, unified communications, audio/video, and disaster recovery failover for multiple location
o Oversees daily operations of infrastructure and IT Help Desk team including management, training, and mentoring
o Develop and maintain SOPs
o Facilities support responsibility for management network drops, heat map, and associated security and IT infrastructure including time clocks with biometrics and security badging system
