$25-$28/hr DOE

Summary: The Training Specialist is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of training operations with a primary emphasis on TCOLE reporting, curriculum development, and telecommunicator instruction. This role involves designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs specifically tailored to 9-1-1 Telecommunicators.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with training operations
• Serve as lead instructor for telecommunicator courses, delivering in-person and/or virtual instruction to both new and experienced personnel.
• Evaluate training needs and implement programs that enhance telecommunicator skills, performance, and professional growth.
• Support the planning and execution of events, meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions.
• Assist with coordination between 9-1-1 and Emergency Communication Centers within the service region to facilitate training partnerships and ensure instructional consistency.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in training or instructional roles
• Proficiency in Canva
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Experience with Articulate or similar e-learning platforms preferred.
• Ability to create comprehensive lesson plans and instruction materials for classroom and online training delivery.
• TCOLE Instructor certification required.
• 9-1-1 experience preferred.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $25.00 - $28.00 Per Hour
