Job Description

Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for the 2023-2024 school year to support students within an elementary school setting. This contract position offers an opportunity to provide essential speech and language services, including makeup therapy sessions for students requiring additional support.

Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for elementary students
Deliver direct speech and language therapy services during the school day
Provide makeup therapy sessions for students who have missed scheduled appointments
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student evaluations, goals, and session notes
Participate in meetings and case conferences as needed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting
Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
