As a Mechanical Engineer Consultant, you will perform advanced consultative mechanical engineering work, serve as an in-house mechanical design expert, and provide direction to management about new technology. You will complete designs, specifications, and Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings for construction projects; review reports, computations, and cost estimates; and ensure projects comply with design practices, applicable codes, and policies. This role requires advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering principles to support construction, maintenance, and operational problems. In addition, you will conduct site inspections, review contract change orders, provide assistance to facility maintenance managers, and lend technical guidance to other engineering and technical staff.
