Your mission is to convert this model into a movement. Lead prospective families through trust-building conversations, conduct engaging info sessions, establish community alliances, and mobilize current parents as advocates. Your goal: cultivate a waitlist of over 150 students through advocacy, not sales. Operating with finesse and poise, you'll embody our belief that with the right tools and expectations, all children can achieve more, faster. This dynamic on-site role is based in one of Alpha's launch cities, requiring local travel and substantial community engagement.

What You Will Be Doing

• Facilitating trust-focused 1:1 discussions and informative sessions that transform prospective families into enrollees
• Organizing regional workshops and events to boost awareness and gather quality leads
• Developing strategic collaborations with local entities and influencers to enhance visibility
• Empowering parent advocates to champion Alpha and publicly support the 2 Hour Learning model
• Providing leadership with insights into parent sentiment and engagement for strategic planning

What You Wont Be Doing

• Promoting Alpha as a product or utilizing aggressive sales techniques
• Modifying curriculum or lowering standards to placate influential parents
• Conducting feel-good events lacking strategic enrollment impact
• Acting as customer service to resolve concerns without fostering advocacy
• Avoiding community presence by staying behind internal operations

Director Of Community Engagement Key Responsibilities

Drive the creation of a 150+ student enrollment waitlist at a single campus by transforming families into enthusiastic advocates through strategic outreach, engaging interactions, and mission-focused conversion.

Basic Requirements

• Reside in one of the specified cities and be available for on-site work with local travel: Scottsdale, AZ; Lake Forest, San Francisco, or Santa Barbara, CA; Orlando, West Palm Beach, or Tampa, FL; Charlotte or Raleigh, NC; New York City (Manhattan), NY; Fort Worth, Houston, or Plano, TX; Washington, D.C. (Chantilly).
• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Over 5 years of experience working with families in education, outreach, or enrollment
• Demonstrated ability to guide sophisticated stakeholders through trust-based decisions
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills under pressure
• Strong belief in Alpha's high-expectation, accelerated learning model

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
