Position

The Operations Manager of Reconstruction Experts- our client is responsible to drive and lead this business to its overall success. The role is accountable for growing the business and the successful execution of it, including identification of key gaps to ensure the continual development of the business. The role is also ultimately responsible for the leadership and direction of the team. This role will lean on the VP of Operations & VP of Sales for the development and refinement of systems, processes and tools dedicated to delivering sound building solutions. An important dimension of the position will be dedicated to Precon, Estimating, Client growth, Delivery, Business Development Management and Team/Talent Management.

Client Relationship Management

  • Identify new clients to target and build relationships with
  • Attendance to all key functions within the industry including representing the client and engage with our key industry
  • Support the Regional Team in maintaining and strengthening existing client relationships
  • Build new client relationships through proactive marketing, in-person sales calls, and networking.
  • Conduct monthly marketing activities to identify potential clients. These include industry events, Happy Hours, in person
  • visit and anything else that will lead to more opportunity.
  • Collaborate with clients in order of priority - In person, Teams/Zoom, Via phone or by email as a last resort. All
  • communications are to be logged through HubSpot with each client. Each note is to include detail around the conversation
  • and clearly outline the next step in the relationship with a Task set for follow up in HubSpot.

Health & Safety

  • Promote, maintain, and drive the successful execution of all OH&S standards, practices, and systems. Be relentless in challenging yourself and every member of the team to ensure safe working conditions in every instance and compliance to all legal mandates.
  • Ensure you are always kept up to date with the most recent OSHA policies and sub-contractors are advised accordingly. Further, ensure that all company OSHA policies are adhered to.
  • If applicable, incident reports completed, forwarded to OSHA
  • Ensure that any communications to health, safety and environment regulators is undertaken as per the applicable laws and guidelines and that State Managers are kept abreast of the reasons for these communications and the results of any

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Background in construction industry essential
  • Experience and demonstrates understanding of work health & safety practices, legislation, regulations & current market rates/trades
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Have competent skills including Microsoft suite
