SUM Logistics LLC is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner that is owned and operated by locals for locals. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are inspired and motivated to work smart and work hard in a team environment. As a delivery driver, you will be the face of our company. It will be your job to consistently exceed customer expectations by making sure all orders are delivered with a smile, on time, safely, and to the right location. Currently, we are looking to fill full-time driving positions in Ankeny, IA.
Delivery Driver Associate Responsibilities:
1. Loading and Unloading: Loading packages into the delivery vehicle and unloading them at the designated delivery location.
2. Navigation: Using GPS or maps to navigate the delivery vehicle to the destination.
3. Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service to Amazon customers by answering questions, addressing concerns, and delivering packages with a positive attitude.
4. Vehicle Inspection: Ensuring that the delivery vehicle is well-maintained and in good working condition, reporting any issues or concerns to management.
5. Safety: Adhering to safety guidelines and protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment when necessary.
6. Time Management: Managing time effectively to ensure packages are delivered on time.
7. Reporting: Reporting any delivery issues, discrepancies or delays to the appropriate personnel.
8. Teamwork: Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient and effective delivery of packages.
What is an Amazon delivery service partner? Amazon has partnered with local Delivery Service Partners (DSPs), independent delivery organizations that help Amazon deliver thousands of packages to customers every day. As an employee of an Amazon delivery service partner (DSP), you will work directly for the DSP that operates out of a local Amazon delivery station.
